The department of Respiratory Medicine of Rajshahi Medical College is established in June 2010. At the inception there was no separate indoor space. So, department had been working along with department of Medicine. From 6th October 2018, it has been started running independently with 10 nonpaying beds and some paying beds. Bronchoscopic procedure began since 2010 and is still running almost unin terruptedly. Outdoor service has been providing regularly.
