Introduction
The department of nephrology is one of the oldest, dynamic and flourished department in Rjahshai Medical College Hospital was established in the year of 1992: After inception, this department is committed to serve the people of greater Rajshahi as well as northern part of Bangladesh. Our department is running with two wings- General words (ward no: 20 for female & 21 for male) & Hemodialysis Unit. The department of Nephrology is located on the first floor of the old building of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital. This department has general words, haemodialysis unit & an ultrasono-guided biopsy facility. The hemodialysis unit is located on the first floor of same the building.

Departmental presentation
(Case presentation / journal presentation / seminar) Two presentations per month (Central presentation).
Presentations per year (central) and 2 presentations per year (medicine and allied subjects).
Ongoing research activities: Current areas of interest are: Acute kidney injury.
Chronic kidney disease. Pregnancy associated AKI.
Publication: Case report, original articles, review.
Weekly departmental meeting: Yes.
Post graduate course: The department is recognized for the FCPS training course under BCPS. No post graduate course on nephrology but applied for MD (Nephrology) course.
